Keats.

After the huge success of the Sam Tyler poll i thought i'd ask another question that i've been very curious about. It was nice to get opinions and hear both sides. Yay for us being a nice friendly civilized comm!

So, my next question.
(Don't think about the actor, this is all about Jim as a character.)

I said loathe - but only because it's doing my head in trying to work out what he's all about. He's a good addition to the show, I think, but at the moment we're not really getting that many clues about who he really is and what he knows - and honestly? It's annoying me. I feel as if his storyline hasn't moved anywhere since episode 1, though maybe that will change with tonight's episode.

What's everyone's theory on Keats?

Well, in 3.02, Keats seems to recognize who Jeffrey Dahmer is when Alex mentions him, when Dahmer wasn't arrested until 1991 (and the rest of the squad obviously has no idea who Alex is talking about). So my guess is that he's from the future as well, although from what era is anyone's guess.

I didn't pick that up at the time. Interesting.

I've always got this 60s/70s vibe from him. With his costume and glasses, he sometimes looks like he's walked off the set of 'Mad Men.'

Love to hate. I think he's an effective character because I hate him.

I answered "loathe" since he is just loathesome! However, that doesn't mean I don't like him being in the show - he's an awesome villian! :)

He is loathesome!! I always want to throw things at my TV when he comes onscreen. But it takes an incredible actor to make somebody HATE their character so much.

I Think the fact that so many of us loathe/hate him means Danny Mays is doing an exceptional job.

He is not only unlikeable he is creepy with it.

I agree. Definately.
He makes a fantastic evil character.

I actually loathe him for real. I know he has some higher purpose or whatever but he just makes me angry and want to throw things at the screen. Not in a good way. :P I know I'm in the minority on this though.

LMAO. He does!
I really hope Alex doesn't fall for him..
She always seems to be smiling at him, revealing things to him, chatting intimately with him..

But she doesn't have dreams about him singing Uptown Girl so i think we're safe! ♥
