there's one promo pic with a shadow standing behind alex (she's with gene). it looks nothing like sam. i'm thinking it's, more likely than not, pc summers. i don't really want adult!sam to appear.
Though I would love for Sam to be the ghost - in any form - I bet it's PC Summers. But please bring Sam back somehow - even in a flashback! I feel so sorry for Gene - why does bad things keep happening to him? If he dies, I'll cry so hard. The fact that he's on the run makes me feel really upset - he's been brought down so far. Can't believe Ray's now a DI - it's going to be really weird to see him in Sam + Alex's place. I always thought that Gene's DI held some sort of strong significance. The new DCI Jim Keats sounds scary but nice at the same time...
Where did you hear about Chris hearing stuff? I've not seen that. I'll ignore that for now, though. Mostly because I'm not sure of the source.
I'm not convinced any modern day footage, wherever it's from, would have anything to do with Chris. We hear him talk about his family a lot in A2A, and Ray at least is familiar with his cousins. He could've just heard a lot from Chris, of course, but he did sound as though he'd met them.
But maybe if he actually is hearing stuff stuff his family are actually constructs, or he's been around from a young enough age to have been adopted. If he's in a similar situation to Sam and Alex, I'd say he's unaware of it.
This is pretty much me just pulling theories out of nowhere, but hey. Whatever.
Also, I guessed that Ray would be DI even before it was confirmed thanks to that tiler comment! I felt so pleased with myself when they actually confirmed it.

IIRC, it was in an article somewhere that came out around the time of filming.
