Australian BBQ Kangaroo

and

South African Sweet Chutney

I'd started chomping at the Sweet Chutney crisps, thinking 'Hmmm' 'these taste a lot like Worcester sauce and maybe a little bit like ketchup. Oh and brown sauce too'. Then I remembered that that is pretty much what South African Chutney tastes like too, being a mix of sugar, fruit, garlic, chili and other spices. OK Walkers, I'll have to hand you this one.

For those of you shaking your heads at that explanation. Worcester sauce is this stuff:

A potent little number, sort of the British alternative to Soy or Fish sauce having been around since 1837. It contains Malt vinegar, spirit vinegar, mollasses, sugar, salt, anchovies, tamarinds, shallots or onions, garlic, spices and flavourings. It is THE required additive to a proper hangover solving Bloody Mary cocktail. Tomato juice, vodka, pepper, tabasco and a couple of slugs of this baby and you are reset for the day.
Incidentally, Walkers also makes a pack of crisps in homage:

Brown sauce is a bit like his big brother. A malt Vinegar base, blended with fruit and spices and otherwise knowns as HP sauce.

It is to be used only on bacon or sausage sandwiches. And I do believe brown sauce and sauage crisps are available somewhere.

The Aussi kanga crisps? I have really no idea what these taste like. A bit meaty. A bit cat foody? The packet reports that "Australian BBQ Kangaroo seasoning" contains dried onion, dried garlic and dried tomato. Oh and some smoke. No meat here. Now I have eaten Kangaroo, although admittedly it was pan fried. It tasted a bit gamey and a bit stringy. It did not taste like these crisps.
