"go bush!!"

so many people are so ignorant. i have no problem with different opinions. what bothers me is that so many people wanted bush to win this election, and they don't know enough to justify WHY they would vote for him.

this entry is open for debate. go ahead, try me. make me understand why he's worthy of being president for another four

you have alot of nerve commenting back to me calling me spoiled and saying my family and i have alot to learn about life.
my parents donate to the red cross every chance they get, and they donate all the crap they get in the mail.
People on welfare dont pay takes. they dont have jobs and they government gives them money for free and food stamps and they help them pay the rent and they dont do anything for it.
Why should people have to pay them? when they earned it?
i was putting it in raychels terms.
your putting them in mine.
besides i didnt ask for you opinion anyways did i now?

okay i dont think that was the point of her comment. basically all i was trying to say was that i dont think its right to look down on those who dont have as much money as you may have, or sam, or laura.. some people dont have the money for an education, like college. america is supposed to be united.. to come together as one. just because someone doesnt make a large amount of money doesn't mean theyre not doing something productive. athletes make a large amount of money more than teachers do. teachers play a huge role in people's lives. you said that rich people have to pay 54% of all taxes, which is true. but then again, it's kind of hard to pay taxes when you dont have the money to begin with. you could say its not your problem, and youd be right.. but what if the tables turned.. wouldnt you want someone to be compassionate to you about money? if you say you wouldnt expect them to, really think about it. im aware that money is no issue for you, but if it were ME, and i knew that there were so many people that are homeless, or that ( ... )

thats something im totally aware of.

my intention was never to "win anyone over". it was to make people think about both sides before jumping to the conclusion that they either wanted bush to win or wanted kerry to win.

i totally respect your opinion. i never once said, "no, you're wrong for thinking this way." like i said in my post, i have no problem with different opinions.. i just wish people would think more about things that matter..

yeah i know, we're not old enough to vote, but it doesnt mean that we cant think about it, or talk about it, or even debate about it. whats the point in being close-minded?

im sorry if you thought i was trying to make you think what i think.. that wasnt it at all.

dont worry i know that wasnt your intention.
but everytime i said something you siad something right back saying i should think the way you think. but i cant do that. we have different opinions thats all.
i never said anything about not being able to vote. trust me i like thinking about it know and getting prepared. no arguments on that one.

"but everytime i said something you siad something right back saying i should think the way you think."

you were trying to get me to understand why you think the way that you think. i was doing the same is all.

no.
i was stating my opinion and you were telling me to think about the less fortune and all that.

i meant to consider them. i wasnt saying "you have to think about this and this.."

now let me ask you this: are you so heartless that you dont care about the people less fortunate than you are?

sounds kind of mean to me.

once again.. trying to make a point. i know you're not heartless.. if you were i dont think that id consider you a friend of mine..

whatever this could go back and forth. i think you already know what i was trying to do there. it had nothing to do with being mean, or getting you to believe what i believe. it was about getting you and everyone else to think about both sides..

i agree with whitney and i really doubnt the george w bush gave hitler money since he wasnt born during the holocost(sp) and his dad may have been barely born so yeah mabe his like great great granpa did so wat i bet some of ur relatives were slave owners so wat thats wat people did back then u think u should never be able to run for politicl office for wat ur parents or decendents or wtvr did ? cuz there is no way george w bush actualy supported hitler

and as for raychel the reason some of our families might be wealthy is becuase they went to colege went to graduate school and got a steady job that wasnt dead end why should we have to give hard earned money to people who are to stupid to get a college education and dont sya they cant afford it they coulda gone to valley collge thats what my dad did he ended up planty wealthy

too stupid to get a college education?

wow. thats a little harsh.

my mom didnt go to college. why? because we used to money to support my dads college funds. are you trying to say that shes stupid? she went on to be the manager of Health Net for 15 years. Then she had black outs and got on disability. Are you trying to say that we're stupid? That we don't deserve the money because my mom had blackouts? Well guess what? Not everyones lives works as perfectly as others, and i dont think its fair to make a judgement like that.
