Whaaat. Two Hobbits? I am not sure we need two. I mean if they wanted to give us more movie they could have cut less stuff out of the LOTR ones.;D

Also, Terminator?

"It's like the 'Batman' or 'Superman' franchise in that it lends itself to having different actors in the roles," he said.

Um, no it doesn't, because Ahhhnold is the Terminator and that is that. Also meh on Val Kilmer and George Clooney, and that new Superman is no Christopher Reeve.

I know, weird yes? Perhaps they want to do some kind of prequel-backstory thing as well as the main story? Who knows *shrug*

Totally agreeing re The Terminator. Who else could play that role except Arnold?

I cannot decide if Hobbit news is good or bad (and how would you get two movies out of The Hobbit anyway?), but it certainly does explain why I'm suddenly on a LotR kick again. Like whoa.

*watches the Gondor flashback in TTT again. and again. and again.*

To me, ANY kind of LOTR movie is good news - if only they would let PJ do it again, we would know we were in safe hands!
