I agree with you almost 100% with your argument of the school system. Just look around you. Do you see the majority of the students trying to learn? No, they are trying to memorize. Maybe it's just me, but I seem to notice that the only time I'm in the library to study, is for a subject that I dislike, but forced to take. I can sit down and get my english, or my sociology work done. Intro to bullshit core class however, I can't look at one of those 75 pound text books for more than 10 minutes before I start doing something else to avoid the reading

I feel the same way about it. Everytime i walk into a class i'm paying for, but don't want to take makes me feel like i'm wasting my money and time. However, you can't beat the system, even if it's a stupid system.
