dear universe. please make me not feel like passing out. period pain is all very well but super special cramps plus shaky weakness, boiling/freezing/boiling personal temperature fluctuations and an exciting headache are not welcome. go way. you have had your time. desist!

aw, yay you and yay caterpillar (though extreme sympathy on the not-feeling-well-ness and the universe definitely needs to let you be and recover now, damnit) and, aww, cute! and huge, goodness. i keep having to catch-and-release spiders at work (three inside of ten minutes the other day, wtf? obviously the mice are not eating them. *is a trifle hazy on that whole circle-of-life deal*) but they're not really all that interesting being as they're all little common or daddy-long-legses. but that is a very spiffy caterpillar. and it's enormous! i have never ever seen a non-monarch butterfly caterpillar in person, and they're way smaller, so.
