"This is Berlin," says Jack quickly, he talks quickly while he's excited,

"It used to be sad here, there was a wall but it's come down now. Thank goodness."

In Harding's world, construction does not begin for a whole 'nother year, and he's been isolated.

"There was a war, with the whole world, and the soviet union decided they should put up a wall to keep eople from running from their Berlin to the other Berlin."

This is all very far away for Jack. Whose main thought right now is dodging pedestrians.
