JACK STOOD ON A ROOFTOP! ~DRAMATICALLY! FINALLY!!! :D
Between that and the cheesy, confusing-timeline-wise flashbacks and Jack having sex with every male and all the Doctor refs and J/G one-on-one time this was all SO old!school Torchwood, nice to see it back...I don't think one could ever really clarify Jack's timeline and all of the flashbacks, so I didn't really think too hard about it. I think he was perhaps joking about the 700 thing, and that the fixed point thing is perhaps a continuity error.
The J/G car convo was SO intense, though I thought he was saying he was clinging to his mortality at first (like didn't want to reverse the miracle for himself at least), not his life...O_o And I rewound and rewatched that scene like fifty times to copy down some quotes...but I could have misunderstood, his later statements seem to indicate he was just clinging to his life! It doesn't make much sense, but it's Jack, so...
And lol Jack wants to be the Doctor, he even found a coat like Ten in the one scene...:p
