Television season finale wrap up! Whee.

Okay so I actually don't have anything to say about Modern Family. It continues to be an adorable feel-good show and that's about all.

DO IT. we have no specific plans right now aside from a general inclination to watch, though. I think we were waiting for the American shows to wrap up and now they have.

Hee, the IT guy was good. "People wanna be your friend, man!" Heh. And I LOVE the idea that Holly's coming back. But other than that, pretty lame. :\ I want to keep loving this show, but that finale was frankly boring.

I love Holly, but I'm also pretty sure she'll just appear in the last couple episodes so she and Michael can, idk, walk off into the sunset together, and I've fgured that was going to happen since they introduced her character so I'm not like :O!!!! at the mention of her in the finale. And it really does feel like they're running out of ideas -- which, fair play to them, after six seasons set in an office, you've gotta run out of ideas some time.

I JUST WATCHED THE HIMYM FINALE WTF.

They didn't even do a cliffhanger! They ALWAYS do a cliffhanger! Sigh. I mean, I thought they were back on track ("Willem. Defoe!" still cracks me up) but now... oh season five. I'm so glad you're over.

Yeah this season was a hot mess idk. And it started off so well! IDGI. I will say that I hope s6 is better but shows rarely pull themselves back on track so idk.

If they make season six the last season, and actually tie up the mother arc, then it'll be fine. I just don't want it to keep going for three more years, getting shittier ans shittier until they cancel it. Because a) I'm loyal and I'll keep watching, and b) this show's legacy deserves better.

I feel like American sitcoms never ever ever in the history of the world quit when they're ahead, so I dunno how likely it is that HIMYM will be the first. But it'd be nice if it did, I agree.
