Also, I'm amused at how you still couldn't let yourself commit all the the way. Doctor/Donna was shagging, not shipping, and the babyfic was still anti-tiembabies.

It was probably the most plausible of the three, yeah. I sort of forgot about it until I was writing this post.

In its original inception the Doctor/Donna one was sort of more ship, less shag, but it just wasn't happening. That one was probably the biggest challenge, because for a long while there I read a lot of Doctor/Donna fic but never found any that sounded right to me, and I always kind of wondered if I could do any better. Apparently the answer is "eh, not really". The problem with that ship, for me, is that while I can kind of imagine how it might go once it got started, I just cannot fathom how it would get started in the first place.

ALSO there is totally no stipulation that babyfic has to be happy and wonderful and Brady Bunch-ish.
