Oh I love this! The interaction between Donna and Doctor #2 is fantastic. I also wish that we could have seen them more on screen together.

And also love the Doctor #2 and Rose interaction in this as well! Great job! :D

It's too bad really, because their scenes together -- Doctor #2 and Donna, that is -- are basically my favourites in the whole episode, so I feel like they really couldn't've gone wrong showing us more of them and less... say... Martha speaking German. I love Martha, I do, but I don't really care to watch her speak a language I don't understand with an irrelevant sidecharacter.

Oh gosh...that ending is just all the more painful because we KNOW what's going to happen next and so does the human Doctor but he still doesn't tell Rose. Augh! The angst! I love it.

I've always sort of figured that Ten2 must've known what the plan was the whole time, and I do think he would have this awkward internal debate between knowing he should tell Rose and not being quite brave enough to tell her when he assumes that, given the choice, she'd choose Ten. I guess that's sort of an interesting difference between him and Ten, who just shoves her away.

Awwwwwww.... I love this so much. Thank you. I never realized that scene existed until I saw it in that D/R Fix post... was it yesterday?

Loves the Donna/TenII relationship. This just made me laugh!!! > “How old are you, thirteen?”

And this:
"He should tell her what the other Doctor was planning - what they were both planning - and give her a proper heads-up. He should give her the chance to make the choice for herself."

I share that view. For quite some time I'm thinking that Ten and TenII talked and agreed about this before Bad Wolf Bay because the only thing that TenII violently reacted to in that whole scene was the blood and revenge speech and never, ever being left behind.

It was a couple days ago! I knew it existed, I even have an icon of it somewhere (not uploaded, though), but I do wish we knew what they were actually discussing.

I think it was definitely a mutual agreement between the Doctors -- I'm not sure if it's something they'd have to talk about verbally, or if it's the sort of thing they would both just know based on... being essentially the same person... but I really can't believe that Ten2 is in any way surprised by what happens on the beach. Some fics set after JE have him angry at Ten, but I don't think that makes any sense. He saw what was happening and he definitely wasn't trying to stop it. As you said, he wasn't even surprised.

After 'street corner at 2am' and 'the one adventure I can never have' comments that the Doctor made in the past, I'm not surprised that he just grabbed this and ran away with it because this time he can... "cause my body's tired of travelin' and my heart don't wish to roam." That song really reminds me of Ten II.

Ending it was hard, because I wouldn't quite figure out how, and so... angst it was! lol Like I said at doctor_rose_fix, I actually had been thinking abotu ficing this scene for ages now, but I guess i needed that final push to actually... do it. Though this ended up being nothing like anything I had imagined, lol.
