Not quite a worshipper...

A tall, armor-clad figure steps quietly into Djehuty's temple. He came here almost directly from the Nexus, only stopping in his home universe to pick up a large metal-bound book with biometal pages. A chain attached to the book allows it to be slung over Mewtwo's shoulder almost like a backpack.

"I seek the one known as Djehuty, I must speak with

Djehuty is not having the best day. But he does show up when invoked, good days or bad. He appears in the temple--a very modest one, really--and nods politely to the visitor. "And what must you speak to Djehuty about?"

((Sorry about the delay--I've been at work all day.))

(('sok, life comes first and all.))

He nods, shifting the visor on his helmet to transparent. Mewtwo's eyes remain locked with Djehuty's. His posture is proud, but far from disrespectful. "I come with two objectives," he pauses, searching for an appropriate title, "...sir. First, I bring you a gift." He holds out the metallic book. "This book details the history of the C'Tan star gods of the Necrons, perhaps you will find it interesting. The second, I must speak with you concerning an alternate of your fellow deity, Khonshu."

The book certainly is interesting. Djehuty takes it carefully, and inclines his head. "Thank you. It is most kind of you. And, please, sit if you would like, and tell me about this alternate. I have not seen the Khonsu I knew in many centuries."

"I prefer to remain standing, though I thank you for the offer," he says, despite the urging of his all-too biological body. "This Khonshu hails from a world where an alternate of yourself supplanted, forcefully I think, his position as deity of the moon. He has since attacked, and nearly destroyed, myself and indirectly endangered the lives of those I care for. These alternates are not deities, as you yourself seem to be, but the Djehuty- or Thoth as my records name him- seems to be a renegade Chozo. Of Khonshu's nature, I know little. I believe he sought to strike at the Chozo through associations of mine. In the initial struggle, my powers were drained from me. I thought Khonshu dead, only to find he still lived and has since fled to the Nexus to gather his power. I do not ask for my battles to be fought for me, only knowledge or weapons to use against Khonshu when I once again face him ( ... )
