Okay. So after a long e-mail battle, my lecturer has agreed that I can write a 2500-word essay on "the function of self-reflexivity in Margaret Mahy's novels". I've accomplished so much over the past week, yet I also feel as if I haven't really done much at all. Still, I've done the really important things, like hand in an essay, and set up a new e-mail address with my soon-to-be married name.. So, it turns out that my new friend at Uni, Lesley, used to flat with this guy called Jeremy, who is my ex-flatmate Kelly's now flatmate! She mentioned to Jeremy her new friend was getting married soon, and he said that his flatmate's friend was getting married soon, and it all clicked into place. How weird is that? Uni:
Stressful. I'm working on a three-hour seminar on Oscar Wilde, due to be presented on Wednesday afternoon. Also, my lecturers recently supersized the recommended hours of work from 20 hours to 24 hours per week, per paper. I am doing two papers. See below.
