Long time, no entry.
November's looking good. Here's why:

1) William Elliott Whitmore and Lucero show.
2) Joanna Newsom show.
3) Crispin Glover - The Big Slide Show, a screening of his new movie, "What is it," and a meet and greet with the man himself.

I can't wait.

I'm going to California tomorrow and I'm going to have fun for 10 days.
Do yourself a favor and buy the new Josephine Foster album. It's in German.

So,

I just finished my summer semester. My final film project got voted as best in the class. The film that I was cameraman for got voted 2nd best in the class. I was so surprised and extremely happy. Now it gets sent on as a possible entry for the school film festival. Hopefully I get in, but I'm not counting on it.

It's a western written by Nick Cave.
It was excellent.
If anyone gets a chance to see it, you should.

Today after class I met up with Chas and we went to a rally that was about 'stopping the genocide in darfur.' It was pretty interesting, I've never been to a rally before. I got bored after awhile though. It was just a bunch of speakers talking about doing something. I think it would've impacted me more if I was in Darfur ( Read more... )

Today in my humanities class the professor had us meditate. I've never done this before, but it was interesting enough. We went around the class afterwards and everyone said what they saw/felt. We were almost all the way around, when we came to Chris. Chris was laying flat on the floor, his arms tensed up, and he was shaking pretty violently. ( Read more... )
