Big Pimpin', Spending Cheese...

Pimpin' ain't easy, especially when you're still kinda wet behind the ears at LJ and the audience you're preaching to roughly consists of about 2 friends plus LJ maintenance, but I'm going to give it a go here. Now I know you've seen it already, givein, but I just have to mention again how tickled I was seeing your quote for A Bittersweet Potion over ( Read more... )

I've read it. i was depressed afterward. it was a real face slapper. i don't think it is necessarily a bad thing having a fic that ends badly for one of the characters, this one just seemed really vicious - but it may have been just the way i was feelng at the time. i really felt sorry for harry. when is the sequel out?

Yeah, another reason why I've been avoiding reading it is all the feedback about the vicious, depressing ending. From what I've heard Dianann's second installment, which she's writing as we speak and is supposed to be a few weeks away from posting, won't end nearly as bad. I'm holding out for that. It's amazing, anyway, all the feedback it's whipped up.

For me, since it said it was "angst" I typical skip the end to see if it's dark angst or light. IT was DARK! I avoid them like the plaque. I'm depressed and therefore I don't want to have my heart broken in the process. I'm a Snarry romantic and I love happy and sad endings, but not tragic and hurtful endings.

Wow, your sweetie rocks, mine just doesn't see the light, so I've given up either getting his support or even his understanding.

As to the server thing, I've approached my work about it, they were semi-interested. I've also looked into what it would take to run just by myself, and it's a headache :). But I'll keep looking into it.

I swear, I should take advantage of the check spelling during preview option. Ugh, that was the worst written comment I think I've ever done, spelling wise. LOL

"I typically skip to the end to see if ... I avoid them like the plague." Oy!

Anyway, thanks for the "pre-pimpage". I hope I can get something off the ground soon.

It's also good to avoid plaque, so no worries =). And as for my honey, not quite sure if he knows it's strictly slash I'm into but he knows there's same-sex relationships as he suggested Harry and Ron have a thing and have Hermione get jealous as a premise, but I think that was kind of in jest. Gotta break him in with baby steps.

Hee... brace yourself for the influx! All three (friends and LJ maintenance) should soon be busting down your doors to get to the Snarry. ^_^

Yay! for joining _sluts_! And one story that comes to mind off the top of my head is maeglinyedi's "Of Wolf and Man". It's smut-tastic!
