Big Pimpin', Spending Cheese...
Pimpin' ain't easy, especially when you're still kinda wet behind the ears at LJ and the audience you're preaching to roughly consists of about 2 friends plus LJ maintenance, but I'm going to give it a go here. Now I know you've seen it already, givein, but I just have to mention again how tickled I was seeing your quote for A Bittersweet Potion over at the Intertexius site for . Woot! Woot! (gotta toot your horn).
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, another chapter of Procul His by Alchemia and Bugland has been posted. Go now! Don't even bother wasting time to read the rest of this post. Also, another chapter of Nym's Shattered has been added. Same goes about leaving immediately. I won't be offended. Trust me, you're not missing much here.
It seemed to me just only a few months ago there seemed to be a dearth of Snarry in the world, and I had to actually resort to reading other pairings. Now, it seems like it's increased phenomenally like the birth rate nine months after a snowstorm, so I wound up trying to create a spreadsheet to keep on top of them. Mind you I'm certainly not complaining, but there's gotta be a better way. I just haven't wrapped my tiny mind around it yet. In that same story vein, has anybody read that story by Dianann called Dark Chocolate, which has quite a few either raving about or getting depressed and/or violent over? I've decided to wait until the sequel come out before reading so I can reserve judgment, but I haven't seen a story cause a ruckus like this in a while.
For anybody who likes Snarry, smut, and their Snarry and smut mixed together; please check out slytherkins brainchild _sluts_ aka Snarry Lovers United Through Smut, a brand-new, totally Snarry-centric community devoted to the promotion of Severus/Harry smut. One thing I'm really excited about is how discussion of fics, art, or ship itself is promoted,which I don't see a lot of at LJ . That... and of course, the smut. I know goldenpaw72, from hproundrobin is also possibly in the pre-pre-planning stages of a more comprehensive HP fanfiction site (meaning gen, all slash pairings, and even *gasp* het stories will be welcome^_^) . More info as it develops.
And last, but not least, I have to pimp my own sweetie. I love him so! He's gone from thinking my interest in HP was a little bizarre and feeling I spent an unhealthy time on the computer, to encouraging me to try to write something by giving ideas, and buying little Harry Potter knick-knacks for me. Add to that dealing with my chronic depression, which rears it's head at the most inopportune times, and he deserves to to be canonized. Big props to my honey for being there.
