Wonderful weekend in London to catch a They Might Be Giants gig. The below was not the best song they played all night, but it was great fun live and is the one that has been stuck in my head all of today.

It's pointing its gun out onto the street
One of the houses on my street has a cardboard cut-out of a stormtrooper in the window. I really wish I was in the house opposite so I could set up one of Han Solo. -

Highlight of the past few weeks was getting to see Tom Soppard's 'Arcadia' on stage. It manages to compete with 'Rosencranz and Guildernstern are Dead' for my favourite play, and this performance did not disappoint. Made me really happy to see such a smart, geeky, interesting piece of writing be done justice. -

So. The journal has had a big overhaul. I've spent the last two days making all old entries private. I want a fresh start, and although there's nothing really incriminating in my old entries, they're from a different (not to mention younger!) time in my life, and don't really match up with 'fresh start'.
