So not last weekend, but the weekend before, on Father's day, the fam and I went up to Springbrook, which is this giant mountain out West from Brisbane, with a wicked ass waterfall.

And since it's the first time I really got to play with my shiny new camera... I thought I'd bring you a pointless picspam!  YAY!

There really is something about Aussie scrub and trees. I never really noticed it until I went overseas, but it's remarkably easy to pick an Australian landscape.
