Hi all. I don’t know if I have still some friend reading this… it’s been so long since I last posted… and in truth, I didn’t checked LJ for more than a year. Life is like that, interests come and go, and I’ve been rather busy as well… I’m sorry I didn’t answer any comment in that time, just… I was out of LJ. I hope you understand and forgive me

Yes, the part about the patrunus... there was not many options left. And besides, the sword was at howarts... who else could have taken it and, what is more, left it *just* around then? Hum, a sword impregnated in basilick venom... a Salazar's gift to Godric, anyone? ;)
And well, I havent read many comments around the book, but your words dont surprise me too much. Really, what was her editor thinking when he/she admited that Remus/Tonks plot... *roll eyes*

;) Ponte buenaaaa!

...Anyone else missed Severus’ corpse/funeral/whatever? (Rowling giving us fanfic material as goodbye gift?)... JKR may have done it unintentionally but... Snape's body not laid out amongst the fallen? The absence of his headmaster portrait? Him never appearing with Remus or Lily or the others when Harry used the stone? No funeral?
Guess what - maybe Snape isn't dead! With all those ambiguities in the book, it isn't a stretch of the imagination to believe that Snape survived. A large part of fandom is angry that JKR 'killed' Snape - the man deserved a future and some small chance for peace and happiness after all the atonement and sacrifices he made for many years - and by damned we fans are going to see that he gets it! :-)
I think over the coming months that you are going to see an outpouring of fanfics...

About that whole issue that Snape died in canon due to blood loss - here's my counterargument that I posted at another friend's journal in rebuttal to that same comment (italics are quotes directly from the DH text):
...blood gushing from the wounds in his neck... Okay, I'll agree. Nasty looking bite. But I doubt that Nagini had fangs the size of a saber-tooth tiger so the holes couldn't be that large.
...and the fingers trying to staunch the bloody wound at his neck... And who knows if Severus was also doing anything else like casting a wandless spell to stop the bleeding?
...something more than blood was leaking from Snape... Progress! We've gone from gushing to leaking. As Snape is not described as lying in a pool of his own blood, I'm voting for the flow reduction being due to his wounds clotting and not because he's running ( ... )

I also think that in chosing that second name, Rowling was aiming to our soft underbellies. I can understand about James... Even about Albus being the first name of his second son... I suppose I didn't expect *at all* Harry chossing severus' name for anything, not even his new owl. That was sweet, in the right sense, and you are right, it made up for a great deal.
I DO hope albus will get in Slythering. Really, that bias going on 19 years later... is depressing.
About Severus not liying there with the other corpses... I dont know, maybe she wanted be ambiguous... and gives us hopes for the snapefic future...

I've got a mixed feelings about about the book - maybe it's because I read it 'at the full speed' - just to know what will happen next :D (must read it again)
I'm definitely missing Severus’ corpse/funeral/whatever - after all he had done he should get more attention...
and I know that having family is important, but JKR stressed it too much :P (*tries not to think about epilogue*)
and Remus - why??? did all the Marauders have to go? :(

I also feel as if Severus received too little attention. However, I was so aware of Rowling's ways toward our Potion Master, that I even expected less. I suppose that is why I dont feel so down... after all, Harry remebers him! (v.v)
Anyway, the no portrait, corpse or whatever rings a bit odd, doesn't it?
And epilogue, yes... hum... I dont know... we only get chindren's names, lol... not even what harry does for a living... It's too lacking...
About Remus, you will kill me, but Im glad he is dead. I DO Hate so much his affair with Tonks! Snupin foreveeeer!!!!

heh, it's all she could have us - we can now analyze it and believe that maybe 'something' happened :D
hahahha, well maybe you will kill me as I'm glad he's reunited with Sirius :D (oh, OK - they can have a 3some with Snape :P)
PS. maybe he had his reasons for marrying her? :P

although Remus was, surely, thinking about Severus...? or maybe about about the two of them? threesome forever! XD
