I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! I spent some time at my Mom’s (as her birthday is on Christmas day) and we opened presents together, had brunch and once my brother arrived we set up the new computer we had purchased for her. It was such a nice and relaxing time. Forrest and I have spent the rest of our weekend pigging out on tasty

Your Christmas sounds lovely! And hooray for leftovers - I sometimes think that leftovers are almost as good as nibbling while a meal is cooking. Almost!
I take it you enjoyed Rogue One? I haven't seen it yet, but expect I'll be going at some point. I'm off to see Fantastic Beasts again later, and I'll be watching the Credence/Graves sexual tension like a hawk! XD
I am spending the holidays at my parents' house, which is always a little strange as an adult. I lived in another country for a few years, and it was the only time I saw them properly, so I suppose it's become a tradition of sorts.
I hope you feel more settled soon. Your feelings aren't any less valid just because nothing specific happened to trigger them. Hopefully 2017 will be a better year! I'm sure your flist are always happy to lend an ear if you need it.
Oh noooo! You're one of those awful people who takes down the tree! ;) I'm the opposite - I'll have mine up until New Year. Drag the holidays out!

I did enjoy the movies… Well I really liked at least half of it but clearly I must've liked it enough to come see it again today. I won't say anymore so not to spoil it for you. How exciting you are seeing fantastic beasts again. I had wanted to see it in theatres one more time, especially for all the Creedence and Graves drama but I'm not sure I'll get to.
Ha ha I am one of those terrible people like us. I think I get super depressed when the holidays are over so for me it's like ripping off a Band-Aid. But I can be very specific about not starting to early and ending too late. I don't like to put the tree up until the start of December.

Hi! ❤
I'm so glad you've had a lovely holiday! I totally get what you mean about being behind - I feel so out of the loop when I don't post on LJ.
If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm always here. I know that we don't know each other all that well, but I'm a great listener. No matter the time of day or night, if you need me, let me know.

Yes I always feel so bereft when I am gone from LJ. So much to catch up on.
I hope you had a lovely holiday as well.

I had a lovely Christmas with my family, slept most of the 25th after lunch (we celebrate Christmas on Christmas eve here) and yesterday some unexpected visit, but overall, it was super. :)

Totally get you with the weirdness. I often get a little burnt out around this time, what with modding and all the fic, and a million little things that tend to get to me. But January is almost here, and I'm so excited for a clean slate and a fresh start!
I am, as you know, basically always on g-chat! <3 Also, totally going to email you soon about Feb DD! Hope yours is coming along!

Yess, so excited to see your Feb DD. I saw that you had finished your first draft on your to do list and got excited/hopefully I would be getting a peek at it as well. I finally wrote the backbone of the story yesterday, yay! Need to fill in all the details now~
