checking in
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! I spent some time at my Mom’s (as her birthday is on Christmas day) and we opened presents together, had brunch and once my brother arrived we set up the new computer we had purchased for her. It was such a nice and relaxing time. Forrest and I have spent the rest of our weekend pigging out on tasty leftovers and today we are heading to the movies to see Rogue One again.
How did you all spend your holiday?
It’s been so odd--I’ve been posting daily all December what with my Advent drabble series, and I’ve been on top of commenting on fests and replying to comments, but otherwise I haven’t really been *on* livejournal, or just plain interacting in general. It’s just been a bit of a blur of a month.
In fact this post has been a bit of a blurry post. I think I mostly wanted to check in and say hi, even though I don’t have much to say, haha. Things have been… weird lately. Nothing concrete has occurred out of the norm but I’ve been a bit off emotionally and mentally for… well a while now. My lovely flist already knows about some of this as they have so kindly dealt with my more emotive posts, but yeah I am still trying to feel settled again.
I am back to my usual default icon and I shall miss you Holiday icon Draco… I’m one of those people that *needs* the tree down before New Years so the same goes for my holiday icon, haha.
Anyway, hi and I hope you are all well and fingers crossed for a more organized, clearer and strictly positive personal post in the near future!
