Random cat story

Yesterday I took my cat to the vet for his checkup and shots. His vet has the patience of at least two saints and has an all-cat practice. (Can you imagine? Wow. Anyway, she's awesome ( Read more... )

Hee. In my summer job as a vet's assistant, part of my job used to be trying to get cats to stop purring or growling so she could listen to their heart.

I agree, your vet must have amazing patience!

It wasn't purring, it was growling. But apparently he can do that while breathing, too!

Sounds like you have a talented kitty! I think the part of this story I liked the most is the momentary pause the vet allowed while finding out that the growl is not hampering your cat's ability to keep growling. Hee.

I assume that the vet was eventually able to hear the heart and lungs. All clear for Sid, then? :)
