"Busy day, Smallville?"

And there was Lois, leaning on the opposite side of his desk, warm smile cleverly masking her curiosity to probably everyone in the room who wasn't Clark (or maybe Perry).

Reaching out she smoothed back an errant lock of his hair back into place, voice dropping to a softer more conspiratorial tone.

"You're looking a little windblown."

Clark, amazingly, doesn't look up from the screen as he responds. "Mxyzptlk."

"...Crap."

Lois rounds the desk, pulls a spare chair over and sits herself down, casually reading over his shoulder and prying her blackberry out of it's holster on her belt.

"Anything spare fingers can help?"

"He's animating dolls from a toy line called Incarcipals into very large, very dangerous mechanisms. Kon and I fought a 30 foot Barney in outer space." He looks up and looks at Lois right in the eyes. "It stripped Kon naked."
