Metropolis Power Plant
The Metropolis power plant was once a nuclear power plant. Several years ago, Brainiac 13 upgraded the city, and altered the nuclear plant to a fusion power plant. Safer, cleaner, and more efficient, the upgrade has remained in place. Of course, should the plant be destroyed, it could threaten the entire city, but the plant is secure. Structurally, it can withstand a massive amount of damage, and because it replaced a nuclear plant, it remains on an island down the river, where it's harder for most insane villains could threaten it. It even remained secure during the invasion of the Sinestro Corps last year.
Today, that could change completely.
A giant stuffed purple dinosaur rises out of the river, singing, "I love you... you love meeeee..."
And it moves towards the power plant, swinging its tiny stubby arms as it approaches.
