Snake-Eye's and Jill Valentine's Recon (Locked to Snake-Eyes and Jill)

Dec 11, 2005 19:33

*From his vantage point in a nearby oak tree on the grounds of the GloboChem Facility, Snake Eyes has begun his reconnaisance of the area. The building itself was 5 stories tall, set in the commercial district of MiD-Town Los Angeles. It's a very modern architecture of glass and steel, surrounded by a small private park-like area. There are alot ( Read more... )

((Since Claire's talks with Custo broke down, she asked Jill to recon the area as well.))

*Snake Eyes blended in with the leaves of the tree, the night cloudy, hiding the light of the moon behind them. He saw a weakspot in the security as two researchers passed by one of the high walls of the building and the cameras rotated away. He ran across the park, perfectly silent as he was only carrying his sword and combat knife, not a sound coming from his gear ( ... )

*Another researcher down...alot more people here than he thought, but this one had a small chart that had something to do with the Plagas. Luckily no alarm has been raised. Looks like the security guard and 3 researchers haven't woken up yet. Good thing he remembered those pressure points...they shouldn't wake up for at least an hour or so and they won't know what happened when they do ( ... )

*The facility here on Sub Level 1 was quite different than what Snake had seen outside, and his hunch wa correct. GloboChem was a front for Umbrella's activities here below the surface. The guard patrol is much tighter. The guards that Snake has observed thus far are dressed in black fatigues, and they carry M-4 carbines. They also wear black riot-armor.*

*As Snake Eyes takes the guard down, he realizes that he is carrying a radio. And from his experience in the military, he knows that the guards will check in by radio at a pre-determined interval, so he'll either have to get out of her quickly, or find a way to make a radio check for the guard.*

*The walls here are a bare gunmetal grey, and the sounds of humming machinery echo throughout the large structure. Researchers move about, carrying clipboards.*

*He found that crawling along these pipes would actually take him along the rest of the hallways a good ways without being seen. But as he made his way down, the radio he had taken was going off, saying about checking in. He quickly rolled over, putting the radio to his translator, and typing ( ... )

As her earlier conversation with Claire would prove, Jill was right about the whole "underground" assumption. In Sub Level 1 was where all the dirty work had been concentrated upon, and in one of the west compartments, by peaking through a small window she'd discovered on her left, she'd perceived the ragged body of Ramon Salazar. After discovering the entrance was sturdily locked, and following a few moments of watching his stunted figure slowly move about, Valentine had to leave-- she had heard footsteps.

The image of his misfortune still beared heavily upon her mentality, though.

There was no sign of Chris yet, and that sort of scared her...Him being the main objective and all. However, according to the map the renegade had within her possession, she had a vague idea of where he could have been: there was a location somewhere nearby with a variety of cell-like features. Jill expected it to be more heavily guarded than ever ( ... )

*As Jill sneaks through an office, she passes a computer terminal. The desktop displays the Umbrella logo, and a message is flashing on-screen. No one is in the office at the moment. The message reads as follows.*

>>>>WARNINGWARNINGWARNING
>>>UNAUTHORIZEDACCESSDETECTED
>>>INTRUSIONCOUNTERMEASURESONLINE

---COMPUTERSUBSYSTEM6

*A pair of guards pass through the office carrying rifles, and Jill presses her frame flat behind a filing cabinet. They walk past her oblivious, and she catches a snippet of conversation on their way through.*

"...-ey moved that Redfield bastard to Cell Block 15. Krauser's in there wi-"

*They then pass through the door leading out.*

After taking recognition of how scarce the hiding spaces were, there might have been a few moments were Jill panicked. She’d gone with pure instinct when the two armed security officials entered the office, and as Good fortune would have it, they hadn’t even found a trace of her…but the duo had left behind a segment of valuable information.

Chris was being held within Cell Block 15, guarded and no doubt being tortured by Jack Krauser himself.
