The Househunting Continues....

Yesterday we went to Lebanon to look at this house:

It wasn't an open house, but we wanted to see where it was since it's out of our 'target' Lebanon neighborhood. Well, it's WAY out in the country. Outside of the Lebanon City Limits, even. And the sunroom needs to be torn down - the rest of ( Read more... )

I just looked at that first one. Phil wants to move to somewhere with a bigger bedroom and bathroom. We're not in a rush or anything - will probably be a year, year and a half, two years until we get serious about buying again. I just wanted to see what was out there.

You may even get a tidy little profit when you sell. Not sure how it's all going on your side of Hadley, but the side we lived on we couldn't even afford to move back to, unless we wanted a smaller house. I can't believe how the prices have shot up over there. Makes me happy but sad at the same time. Brandon really regrets selling our place.

I know, I was looking at a place on Clarke right next door to the blue one we looked at that they were asking for 125ish. Only difference I can see is that this one has a garage and the asking price is 188k! I was like, damn, should have bought 808! Stupid aversion to miles of blue carpet. hehe I don't really know if this side is shooting up as well.

Yeah, and the one you are speaking of only has two bedrooms.

We paid $127 for ours, which we thought was a steal even then, but even more so now since there is no way to get one that isn't a dump for that price.

I get so frustrated sometimes, I really loved that house, I wonder if I will ever find anything that I will like as much, something that I can just make minor changes to instead of wanting to rip out cabinets and fucking vanity sinks.

Love the first house...I wish they had more pictures of the second one cause it looks very promising!!

Too bad the first one is way out in yonder....

Yeah, and it's surrounded by McMansions. Not exactly where I want to live. I want a real neighborohood with sidewalks. Like I used to have.

Maybe they'll put up inside pics of the other house - I'd love to see it. I hate emailing Real Estate agents, because they never answer my questions.
