A happy New Year to all

A Dutch saying goes: "Men moet de dag niet prijzen voor het avond is." Meaning: "One should not praise the day before night has fallen." I should have waited with my review of 2004 until it was truly over, but who could have guessed that that already less-than-great year had one more trick up its sleeve? I don't mean for me personally, my holidays ( Read more... )

Aaah, you have returned! It's good to see you had a swell time. Apart from the headache, ai. 8/

And the whole Tsunami disaster is simply unbelievable. I can't bear to imagine what's going to happen next Boxing Day...

By the way, you can post comments in my blog without joining the thing! I hope you'll comment on some entries when you've caught up! Hope your headache gets better soon, I've had one for four days now... probably strained neck muscles.

Thanks Sophy! Still haven't caught up, but will definitely comment on your blog. I have no experience with them, do you notice comments on older entries?

I'm sorry about your headache, get well soon! Yesterday and today mine was okay, but it returned in the evenings.

I can see up to ten of the latest comments - same sort of system as here in LJ, there's a page that shows them. Also, I can tell from the number of comments on the main page. And I do an occasional run through of some of the past ones myself. Easiest thing if you comment on an old entry is to just let me know on one of the more current entries.

By the way, there's a thingy on my home panel where you can be emailed when I update... don't think it shows the actual update, it's just a notice, but at least it'd save you coming in when I've not posted to it! You need to put in your email address.

(There's also a 'contact me' form you can use to send me an email... I'd love to hear from you, if you'd like to get in touch.)

Are you getting migraines, or are another type of headache? Mine's better thanks.

Sorry, that was me. I keep forgetting to put my name on these wretched anonymous posts!

The whole disaster in SE Asia is horrible. I can't really wrap my mind around such intense loss. I certainly wish there was something I could do to help...although sending money seems to be the only thing most of us here can do.

Allthesame...I hope you have a stellar 2005. <3

Yes, it is terrible. I have also sent money, but it does feel inadequate.

Thanks lovely, and the same to you! <3
