Back from camping! place did not burn down in my absence, animals all still alive as well.
had wicked amounts of fun tempered by massive desire to commit fratricide. Both were shared by Vicky and Barb, the second not so much by Nathy. Still. Some highlights:

Sounds like a great time! I've never been camping - yes, honest to God... I was never in the guides and generally strayed away from the outdoors.

I like the bit about giving fake names!

So, uh, there will be piccies??? :)

BTW, can I interest you in something Hewlett related to dl? I recently bought a domain/server and can now host my own files instead of uploading them onto the server instead of using the cumbersome YSI!

It's uh con related, and I kinda need someone to dl it and give me some feedback!

I won't say more in an open post but let me know if you're interested (I also have latest eps on my server of our favourite shows).

I wanted to be a scout, but there were no troups my age in the area. I've always loved summer camp and since I'm now too old camping with friends is the next best thing (as for the brother, he was necessary to make the cost split enough ways for us all to afford it). The fake names were not my idea and I was dreadful at remembering to use them all but the first day, but they were fun.

And yes, thanks, you can always interest me in something Hewlett related. He may be the only actor for whom I will sit through anything, and con related stuff should actually be good! Just email me the deets or commment and delete.

thanks so much! It works great and downloaded super fast! I think my top speed was in the 600KB/sec range, average more like 300 with no manager or accelerator. Took like 15 minutes max to get all 3 parts. Thanks again!

Holy Cow - I'm jealous (and a bit miffed!). When I tested it, I got speeds up to 200Kbs and that's why I was wondering if there was something wrong at my end because I do have broadband after all.

Did you use a download accelerator/manager?

It's not a bad clip - I don't think David Hewlett is gonig to be that up close and personal unless he does another "small" con, say mabye something in the UK. The man sure can talk, eh? I just love his ability to jump from one topic to another and the fact that deep down, he's just a big fanboy. And the swimming must be the reason for those gorgeous broad shoulder and chest! :)
