I went to Chinatown 2 days ago to witness the countdown to Chinese New Year and on the stroke of midnight, they set off these firecrackers and fireworks and the fireworks especially were so pretty. My favourite was this particular batch of fireworks which shot up as green sparks and later exploded into beautiful yellow and blue bursts of colour ( Read more... )

Okay, so I went to watch Wallace and Gromit today, and I gotta admit that I was kinda disppointed. The plot was quite solid, but most of the movie was rather slow, and it only started speeding up towards the end of it. I've been staying up till 6am for the past 2 or 3 days and it feels kinda nice. It's peaceful and quiet, no rowdy fights/screams/crying whatsoever. Younger sibs can get really annoying sometimes. I should just be a nocturnal animal. I work better at night anyway ( Read more... )
