if only i could get my shit together, leu. i have the inspiration and the ideas, but the means? i feel like a retarrrrd. w/o a working printer. choking on green tea.

i seriously think our cover should have something to do with a sixties girl group. i mean, that shangri-la's magickal photo is all yours, but it still seems appropriate for us.

that party was actually a little over a week ago. the parties i went to this weekend were way less intimate, but i still had fun. sometimes i find i hole myself up too much in this house, sadly.

little women totally has feminism underlying its dramatic & heartwarming fictional lady's parlor appeal... which i didn't know. i had never actually seen the latest version (or any other) until yesterday. it's my mother's favorite book and i was talking to her today over soup and wonton crisps about how women used to sneak feminist and socialist ideals in their stories and she was totally appalled that i hadn't read it before and thought i didn't because i thought it was lame or something (which wasn't the case, i just thought i just never got around to reading it since she gave it to me when i was like 7). i need to pay more attention apparently.

did i tell you i saw miss jovovich in concert? yep!
