Oh, DNAngel. It has been so long!

My favorite opening is definitely the second season GitS:SAC opening, Rise:

(though the first season opening, Inner Universe, is a close second):

And my favorite ending (which may be my favorite anime song ever) is DEFINITELY Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari, from (pre-webisode) Bakemonogatari:

The PV is adooooooorable. And the lyrics actually have direct plot impact, which you don't learn about until the end (in the scene my icon is from, actually). SO MUCH LOVE.

Oh, Ghost in a Shell!! Of course I know that! XDD (I didn't recognise it from just the initials. XD) And yeah, I know Mamoru Oshii... and Masamune Shirow, but it's really not the kind of stuff I'm into. I just don't like sci-fi. :) (There are exceptions though. ;))
But Bakemonogatari sounds interesting. :) (I love well developed characters and developing plots. :) Mind screwing is a great bonus. :) )

That DNA song is absolutely marvellous!!! It's been such a long time since I listened to an anime opening.

It is. :D I was mesmerized the first time I heard it. :) Of course it's been a while (and I have listened to the song for years) so the effect on me isn't as great, but it's still a wonderful song. :) (And actually suits the series as well. :) )
