I was in Chicago this week and the only people I was able to meet and have conversations with on the street were homeless people. Even in the Art museums, probably the best place to have a conversation with a stranger, people were distant and shy, unable to get out of our heads.
Because we can't connect, people love the Bahamas at spring break. What these kids are willing to do is evidence of their desire for something, something more than sex, I hope.

Second, i fully encourage you to become a homeless person kate. Wouldn't that be fun, muttering to yourself in the subway station in urine-soaked cloths as people make a wide circle around you so they don;t have to smell you.....wait a minitue, Eric's got the schitzo stuff down, and kate has the smell....together, you are a hobo.
