I'm amazed at how much time hasn't lessened my dislike of Tracey. If he would just go away I'd enjoy this show so much more. Aww. I was sort of annoyed at his antics at first, but I find him totally hilarious. He says the most ridiculous things.
I'm trying to ignore Jan as much as possible, just waiting for the REAL Jan to reemerge. You know, the non-crazy, Michael-hating, sane, take-charge boss we had for the first two seasons. Where did she go? I don't knooooow. I want her back too.
I'm really hoping for more of douchebag!Ryan, like the one from the "what I did on my summer vacation" promo. Petty, mean and gloaty, that's how I want to see him. I'm with you.
And Conrad, who I very much have not liked this season, redeemed himself by shooting Marvin in the ass. Aw, I was sad about that because I like Marvin, but he had good intentions.
If I remember correctly, he got less annoying as the season went on, but I don't think I'll ever like the character.
Jan needs to turn this around somehow, and FAST.
I meant more that the reason why he shot Marvin was what redeemed him, not the actual shooting of him. I'm not a big fan of Marvin right now, but I did like him earlier in the season.
Burn Notice is so much fun! And very prettily filmed, I think.
Petty, mean and gloaty, that's how I want to see him. You know, until he makes that HUGE mistake that's just lurking around the corner, which will cause his immediate demotion and return (with his tail between his legs) to Scranton.
The style is very reminiscent of Dexter, which is no wonder since they're both filmed in the same city. I only wish it wasn't in fullscreen, and I can only hope that it's actually shot in widescreen so that the DVDs can be widescreen.
I love smug!Ryan because it's so very obvious that he has nothing to be smug about.
I just usually ignore the first five minutes when Veronica calls to "surprise" them (even though they've been taking pictures of themselves for a week in anticipation of getting that very call).
Not to mention the fact that there are camera people at their house filming them... that might be a good hint. ;)
Hahaha, good point. Though I've only seen two of those sequences, and the first one started out by a pool that could have been public and the second was in a park. But the quality of the video makes it so very obvious that it's not some hidden camera, not to mention how bad these ordinary people are at faking it, so why even try?
I just blasted through 30 Rock the other week, and while I hated Tracey to begin with, by the end of the series I was okay with him. He's definitely more annoying than not, though.
I have Burn Notice waiting to be watched, but I just have so much other stuff that's been sitting around longer!
You know, at first I couldn't remember how much I disliked him, so I'm suspecting my feelings about him may have changed somewhat over the season. I think my biggest problem is with the acting/actor. I just don't like that kind of humor.
I finished Burn Notice on Sunday morning and now I'm feeling bereft. It's nothing earth-shattering, but it's been a long time since I enjoyed watching something that much. Plus, Jeffrey Donovan!
Okay, so, not only are your icons fabulous and your fandom opinions spot-on but you're funny and sarcastic to boot. I mean, I think so, but it's hard to tell across the internet.
Anyway, you're a great graphic artist and I wanted to let you know I am friending you. Also into fandom (a lot of the same ones, actually) and you seem to be a very interesting person or you have interesting commentary.
Well, either way I'm Brandon, so hi there! Feel free to peruse the journal and friend if you wish!

I am also really hoping for this.
