I think that you can see a softening in her acting once the show started putting Logan and Veronica back together, so it's not that I think she was unprofessional, per se, it's more that when she had no indication that there were unresolved feelings between them she put her own spin on what her character was feeling and had to alter her reaction to him once she realized what was happening.

I understand the reluctance an actor might feel about watching themselves on screen. I understand how an actor may be so busy that they don't have time to do more than learn their own lines. I don't understand why anyone who doesn't have full knowledge about the show would express their opinion on it, but that may just be me.

JD reminds me a lot of Ben Browder, actually. Too bad about the Scientology craziness, though. But I think that if either of them is going to become a star, it's going to be Jason, not Kristen.

You know, I was talking about just this very thing last night on the phone with a friend of mine and I have absolutely no clue what she is talking about. You need a 4th choice in the poll that says something like "She was smoking the pipe and her answers reflect as much".

I agree with your opinion that she should be more careful what she is talking about with her own show especially with a fanbase that is so devoted and active - because nothing is more off-putting to me than an actor who doesn't even seem to watch their own program. Maybe that is why my favorite fandom will always be the Firefly/"Serenity" fandom. One where the actors are involved and as passionate about the material as the fans.

Although I don't like actors who are tools who use the same answers over and over again, a little information and knowledge of all of the facts should be at least attempted.

Well, the "hitting the crackpipe" option could fit under "Other". ;-)

I can understand not having the time to watch, or being too embarrassed to watch yourself, but if I didn't possess all the facts I wouldn't presume to speak out about my opinions, at least not to reporters.

Also, it seems that she's shooting herself in the foot a bit, especially with a comment like that, which I think pretty much everyone an agree sounds stupid. Unless there's someone out there who actually thinks she's right, but I would assume those people would also be people who don't watch the show.

Is it evil of me to have enjoyed watching her Deadwood bite the dust scene last night? Okay yea, a little evil.

I've lost a lot of respect for KB over this. It is seriously idiotic for her to be making comments like this unless she is intentionally trying to torpedo her own show. It just seems particularly dumb blonde (to go all stereotypical) and she is by no means a dumb blonde.

Just a smidge of evilness there. ;-)

I don't think KB is really PR savvy, but I think what bothers me the most is that she's wrong. Just plain wrong. And that makes her look stupid.

I just don't know...

With Kristen not actually watching the episodes, and only reading the script, I would have to lean towards NitW.

Good poll!

That's what I like to hear! Score one for my view on things. ;-)

Do we know that she doesn't watch the show? Or is that an assumption based on the fact that she gets the facts wrong?

TV Guide: Some critics think that the second season wasn't as sharp as the first. Do you agree?

Bell: I don't know if I can judge because I don't really watch them; I just have the experience of shooting them. Reading the scripts every week, I thought [Season 2] was just as good. They did a great job of keeping it fresh and not repeating everything we did. Rob added a couple of new dynamics, and I thought that was great.

My big problem with Kirsten's comments is that she always paints Duncan as the greatest boyfriend ever. I mean has she forgotten the whole him being a terrible boyfriend, ying to her and keeping all those secrets?
Also the Logan cheating on her was a bit random. I don't see how him sleeping with Kendall has anything to do with their relationship. If anything she was horrible to him by moving on to Duncan so fast. And if she is referring to LWS then she left him so again kinda her own doing.
I also have no problem with KB having these opinions as long as she doesn't have that much influence with the writers.

I fell that Kristen made up her mind in the beginning and hasn't really budged since. And let's face it, Logan was an ass to her, and Duncan was the boy that she was in love with.

If it ended there, I wouldn't mind it, she's allowed to think that Duncan is a prince, but I think she lets her personal opinions affect her performance and that's when it starts to bother me.

I know what you mean. I think the second then bring in the new guy thats going to be season 1 Duncan (it's soo going to happen cause they need a good guy for her) that she's totally going to play that up and bring down the Logan ness. If that makes sense. I think I'm just going to stop reading KB interviews cause they always depress the V/L shipper within.
