Oh, I didn't like that one so I didn't care when they cancelled it. But it's a good example of how they take every opportunity NOT to nurture their shows.
I wasn't madly in love with it, but I was interested, and it was getting really good when they cancelled it. I've seen one of the unaired episodes, and it was good.
Weevil is pointing and laughing at me. I want to cry.
Weevil is pointing and laughing at Logan...sorry, *Lauren*.
I could never be bothered to download any episodes after the first two. I figured if it was good I'd never hear the end of it from my flist and I could catch up. And then they cancelled it.
Wow... that... that's really interesting actually. Though I find it hard to believe RT & Co. are inserting this symbolism intentionally, it makes for a fascinating read and something fun to think about/watch for in the future.
Oh, I remember that! Hot Dogs, huh? Except Logan doesn't really do anything with them, they just sit there. Though, I guess we can assume that he did eat at least some of them since he seems so fond of them.
I find the "apples and pears" comparison interesting, especially as it seems to be an expression meaning the opposite of "apples and oranges".
I think they figure keeping AD and arbitrarily cancelling any and all other shows will mean that the fans who otherwise would organize a boycott don't dare to because they hold the fate of AD in the palms of their hands.
And really, six months. Though it's possible they may cancel something or change the schedule around so some other show will be put on six-month hiatus.
Six months sucks ass, and I wish FOX could better schedule its programming, but, being a huge 24 fan, I like (gasp!) that FOX airs all 24 episodes in a row, with no hiatuses, because it's horrible to wait even a week between each one.
See, the thing is that I can't understand why they'd pick Prison Break, which seems to be doing rather well. A six-month hiatus in the middle of the season (presumably right after or during the break-out) is just going to kill that show dead.
I realize that 24 is probably taking its spot, but they must have other shows that are not doing so well where PB could take over their spot instead.
I don't think I'll ever understand Fox executives.
I knew this would happen from the beginning of Prison Break. PB is actually in 24's spot. I knew they would put it on hiatus or move it. 24 is the Fox moneymaker.
