I'm gonna have to add that to the order once Amazon gets around to putting it up. If you want to order it now, DVDPlanet already has it for saleYesterday I ordered Dead Like Me season 1 (which has finally ( Read more... )

I actually watched an episode of Hex! I wasn't really won over but I think that might be because it was the premiere and you know, probably had all that fun exposition in it. Looked kind of campy though.

And SIGH. Amazon.com makes me want a credit card rather than a debit card - I think it's going to be all of ten minutes before I crack and email my dad asking him to pre-order it for me!

I'm not that big a fan of Hex either, mostly because I think the lead is very weak, but the end of the first season left me very intrigued. And Thelma is a great character.

I thank the gods for Visa every day. Except for when the bill comes and I curse the day I ever got a credit card. Hee!

I wish that for you guys too. And how about some Doctor Who while you're at it? =)

Though it is possible to watch region 2 for almost anyone. Region free DVD players are pretty cheap even Stateside and if you have a DVD drive on your computer you can get DVD Region Free, which does exactly what it says it does.

I think I remember hearing that Hex will return in October, but I'm not sure. Sounds right, though, 'cause I think that's when it aired last year too.

It's interesting that Scrubs, season 2, is listed on Amazon.co.uk, but not on Amazon.com. Weird.

That's because, like I said in the post, region 2 DVDs, once they start being released, are released close together. It's a blessing for impatient types like me.

Ooh, AD S2, nice.

They're releasing DW as individual discs? That's so bizarre; I've never heard of that.

I'm so excited we're finally getting some news about s2, I've been thinking that the 18 episode run would somehow become a problem when it came time for the DVD release.

In Britain they do the individual disc release quite a lot. Actually, they used to do it a lot with VHS (the first half of season 5 of Angel was released on VHS before the season was even over) and if you're impatient like me that's a good thing.

What did I ever do before this addiction? Oh right, I had cash so I could go out into the world and do stuff.

You and me both sista. Although I am willing to bet I might just own my tv shows on dvd than you. :/ Can't help myself.

Ooooh, you have an extensive collection! I don't have a lot of those, but I see you don't have Coupling, The Office, Doctor Who, Farscape, Futurama, Moonlighting, La Femme Nikita, Nip/Tuck, The West Wing or Sports Night. Nor Scrubs, but then again I don't have that in my hands quite yet either (but it shipped a few hours ago!).

Sometimes I wonder if I should have invested in a new car instead. But then I remind myself that I'm a homebody who even works at home, so the DVD set collection is probably a better investment in the long run. =)
