Oooh, Arrested Development season 2
is apparently being released on the same day as
Veronica Mars season 1 (have you bought your copy yet?).
I'm gonna have to add that to the order once Amazon gets around to putting it up. If you want to order it now,
DVDPlanet already has it for sale.
Yesterday I ordered Dead Like Me season 1 (which has finally been released for region 2) and Scrubs season 1. One thing I like about region 2 (besides the easy access to British shows, and the fact that they're always released in widescreen if possible) is that once the sets start being produced, they're released quite close together. Season 2 of Scrubs
is already available for pre-ordering, as is
The West Wing season 6 (
season 5 has been out for several months).
I'm totally contemplating getting
Hex only because of the low price. I think I'll wait and see what season 2 is like before I make up my mind about that one.
I'm sort of curious about
Nip/Tuck season 2, but not at that price. I got season 1 for 20 pounds, I think I'll wait until this one's on sale too.
Long Way Round is still on sale, and even cheaper than it was a few weeks ago when I last checked. Only, I heard the rumor about three additional episodes and I can't find out if those are included here, so I'll adopt a wait-and-see policy about this one as well.
And the
third disc of Doctor Who is being released in a couple of weeks, so I have to decide if I should order it now or see if the price comes down any.
The complete season is not being released until November 21, but the
fourth and final disc is being released in September, so I think getting them one by one was a good choice. Especially as the price (not counting shipping) will amount to about the same. Of course, I don't get a TARDIS box, which is really a shame.
What did I ever do before this addiction? Oh right, I had cash so I could go out into the world and do stuff.
