Cecilia began trimming away at his ends, not wanting to cut too much off. She had learned how to do this from Jean-luc, her hairdresser. She was always impatient when it came to her dead ends.
"Lonely, hm?" she mumbled, as she was holding a comb in her mouth. She finished with one lock of hair and grabbed hold of the comb again. "How on earth could possibly be lonely?"
"I'm always lonely after a party" He shrugged, trying not to move as he watched his ends fall down over his shoulders. Goodbye, hair..
Wait, but gutting it off didn't sound so bad. It was Summer, and hot. Having a lot of hair would only make things worse. Plus, it would grow back by school time.
"It goes from having at least a 100 friends surrounding you to none" He pressed on, mind still on his locks.
No, no! What was he thinking?! Riley was attached to his hair like a glamor model on the cover of GQ. The hair stayed.
Cecilia combed back another section of Riley's hair, and set about trimming it as the same length as she had just cut. She was barelt cutting of a few centimeters, as she knew Riley would definitely not be happy with more.
"It's a difficult switch," she nodded her head, before sticking the comb back inbetween her lips. She trimmed another lock of hair, and then took the comb out again to pull through his hair. "But, love, can you say you honestly even liked half of the people there?"
He gave another small shrug. To be perfectly honest, he didn't even see half the people at his parties, but that was okay. He was known for being a party boy, and that was what people expected of him. They expected him to welcome them, befriending them as they enter his gathering.
Or did they? Riley was also known as one of the most school-oriented, valued prefects at Hogwarts. He'd scored highest on the owls in his year. No rule-breaker escaped his wrath (even if he was famous for being a hypocrite.). Somehow, the the two different Rileys didn't fit together.
"Baby, I don't even know most of the people at my parties" He chuckled.
She was nearly done with the backside of his head at this point and was beginning to work on the very top. She'd leave his sides for later. She laughed as well, knowing very well that he was right. So many people just came and went.
"That's what you get for being such a party planner," she said grinning, although she knew he couldn't see it. "But really, if you feel lonely, you should just invite someone over."
She waited until the boy stopped shrugging his shoulders before she worked a bit more on the top of his head. His hair looked rather brilliant, if she didn't think so herself.
"Aye, I see," she said, nodding her head with an amused smirk. "Did they?"
"You poor, poor thing," she said, cooing the words playfully. She went back to evening out his hair before ruffling it again to see how it was going to look. Satisfied, she moved from her spot on the bed and moved the chair in front of her vanity to right in front of Riley.
She gave him an amused smile, "Oh, really?" she asked, as she combed all of his hair down past his eyes. "Who?"
"Oh, um, Finnigan?" she asked, pausing from her hair-cutting as she tried to think of his name. She remembered. She had commented herself to the entry after all.
"What he said about Miles was horrible," she said, frowning slightly. She didn't find a death in the family funny at all.
"Crying and public humiliation," she repeated, nodding her head. "Sounds great and all, but you'll need something that will actually humiliate him in front of everyone so he'll cry. Then, you're golden."
She lifted his chin to see where his hair hit, and was glad to see it hang just a bit lower than his eyebrows. She ruffled it again, and began to work on the left side.

Why was he tense again?
"I would've eventually, but I like to see if my mates would ask for me first."

"Although Miles made up for it. We're plotting against this Gryff."

"Potters friend. The one from my country" Honestly, he didn't know his name. "He deserves to be knocked down a few.. a lot of pegs.."

It was much easier to see his hair fall now, and the idea of just taking it all off popped into his head again.
WTF are you crazy?! STOP THINKING ABOUT THAT SHITE!
He blinked a few times, focusing back into reality.
"I know, and thats why he's going to get what he deserves."

"Do you have anything in mind yet?" she asked, trimming his ends closely. She kept away from his face though, as to not knick him or anything.

"Um." He cleared his throat, "SO far we've got crying and public humiliation. That's about it."
