Parker arrived relatively early. He never liked late or grand entrances, especially when it meant having everyone turn to watch him arrive.
As soon as he popped up at the given location, however, he was immediately distracted by the decorations and set-up. Riley (or someone) had obviously gone to a great deal of trouble for the occasion, and he turned in place in search of his friend.

Riley had been sitting on the far side of the deck with a shorter, thin Slytherin girl he'd known as Kathy Griffin and listening to her silly joked for at least ten minutes when he spotted Parker from across the room. Grinning, Riley turned to the girl, commanding her to remain silent while he called over his mate.
"OI!" He shouted, getting to his feet (the girl followed in suit), "We'll look who it is!"
"Surprised I showed up?" Parker answered, arching a smooth eyebrow as he approached O'Dannihugh. He didn't address the girl who seemed to be with him, but strode across the room to join his friend.
"Figured I might as well show if you're going to go to all the trouble of throwing a bash for us," he added, and then threw in a grin to punctuate the comment.
The red head cleared her throat, obviously waiting for an introduction of some sort.
Riley turned to her with a hiked eyebrow, "You sound horrible. Might want to get a drink" he told the girl before turning back to Parker.
The Kathy look straight at the boy, her expression shocked. She gave a huff and then stormed away, not bothering to even send a congratulations to the guest of honor. Riley watched her go, a smirk playing on his lips followed by a shrug.
"Yeah, if you didn't show up tonight I'd probably just disown you." He said simply with a nod, "And believe it or not, my- Will. Will put a shitload of this together."
Dressed simply, Claire slipped into the gathering, never entirely comfortable at parties. She quickly scanned the quickly filling room for someone she knew.
This should be an adventure. Claire thought realising she new very few of the people present in anything more than passing. With some amount of confidence she walked over to a small group of students, hoping she would be taken notice of.
After applying a finishing touch to her mascara, Cecilia stepped back and took a look at herself in the mirror. Maybe she wasn't so ugly afterall. Swinging her large black Chanel bag over her shoulder, she slipped her feet into a pair of white flip-flops and made her way towards the fireplace. In only a matter of moments, she had arrived at Riley's.
Tugging at the hem of her blouse, she looked around for Riley. Spotting him wiht that rather annoying Slytherin Kathy Griffin, she rolled her eyes. Giving the girl a stern look, she babbled some excuse before pulling him away.
"Hello, luv," she greeted, smiling. "You're welcome."
She hugged him back, rather awkwardly of course, with Adrian's and Parker's presants under her arm. After pulling away, she dropped the two neatly wrapped parcels on the table beside her and turned back to the handsome boy.
"You know I'm better for other things," she said, though she was still grinning. "However, I do have to say I'm rather handy in situations like that. I mean, who would rather talk to that than me?" she added with wink.
"No one else in the world" He told her the half truth. Even if he felt like Cecilia could be his journal, Miles, Parker and his brother were just above her.
Took him a bit to get to Riley's new place (he had to make sure Angelina would be okay alone with his family). When he did arrive though he was a bit disappointed to be so far behind. Walking by, spotting Riley and Parker over by the keg, Miles snatched someone's drink out of their hand before downing it quickly.
"Oi!" he shouted over the crowd, everyone looking over but Miles ignored them all but his two friends.
Amused by the loud entrance, Parker pulled the bottle down from his lips in order to salute Miles with it. The others in between all seemed to be watching the exchange, although in their usual style, none of the core group of mates seemed to mind or notice.
"Get your arse over here Bletchley. Have a celebration to start and we were waiting for you," he lied, bringing the bottle back down for another sip.
ooc: It still amazes me how much I can hate Miles and yet still get excited when I see him comment. Awww, they're friends. ^.^
"It is highly unlikely that you kept from partying without me, Montague," he replied, taking up a new cup and filling it when he reached them. "You were never one to wait for anyone before you drank - though."
He took a long draught and sighed happily, wanting to get smashed for the first time that summer.
"Either way - you better get good and shitfaced seeing as we've got plently planned for you and Pucey."
"Shitfaced is the order of the night, trust me," Parker answered roguishly, flashing his celebration present in front of Bletchley. "Pretty sure this will be my ticket there, too," he informed him, once again pausing to consider the bronze-trimmed label on the pale green bottle of liquor in his hand.
Looking back to Miles, he grinned. "Hope you brought me something. Nice pile of presents you can add it to right back there," he joked, nodding his head toward the pile Riley had shown him.
Allie nervously waited in the den, pacing back and forth. She hadn't yet put on her little costume, but she had a feeling she'd feel rather cool in the warm summer heat.
She looked to her left, eyes on the calm and collected looking Padma Patil.
"We're about to dance half naked for them," Padma laughed lightly, trying not to show her blush - she wasn't even tipsy so the idea of it all was a bit nerve wracking. Then she reminded herself it was for Adrian and it was okay again.
"I don't think they really need anything more than that." She looked over at Allie who seemed a bit uncomfortable. "Just relax, alright?" she gave a warm smile. "It'll be alright,"
"Yeah, okay." Allie laughed to herself, seating herself on a rather comfortable sofa. She leaned back into the cushions and sat silently for a minute or so.
"I, um. I gave Parker something." She admitted, sending a small grin off ahead of her, "Just a little thing to make him laugh."
