My plan of not going to Nimbin this summer because I don't want to deal with the heat has backfired since today it's boiling >_< To combat this we have brought the living room furniture about into the shade of the trees and now have an outdoor area to keep away from the heat. Thank god for laptops and wireless.

You should of gone to Nimbin. I was only down the road at Byron Bay for like 3 nights! We were gonna go to Nimbin for a day but somehow didn't. But we could have done cool hippy shopping.

Byron is great. Way touristy, but the beach is gorgeous! Plus it's got 'That Shop' which is all gothy and I love their shoooooes.

Yeah, beaches and a day in Brisbane won over Nimbin but we would have liked to have gone. Maybe another time. We were staying in Byron with Martin's (that I was traveling with) family, and yes That Shop was rather fab! And I spent like an hour in the bead shop. Mmm beads.
