It's pretty shocking to see just how illiterate my fellow countrymen are.

Just looking at posts and messages from a large number of people I'm coming into contact with doing business online, I cannot help but draw the conclusion that nearly nobody in England can spell even the most basic of words, let alone punctuate or construct a sentence.

Maybe it's just me... Did they change loads of spelling since I left the country? Fink I need a nu dikshunary or sumfink ;)

They're the little people that live on the island of Kudo. But stupid Wikipedia thinks it means "fame and renown resulting from an act or achievement; by extension is often used as a praising remark." but they're dumb. Probably English ;)

i think everyone has the same problem on each country. coz i actually see hat here also.. and its due to the internet.. everyone writtes poor portuguese than they actually start to forget how the write (or spell) words correctly.

But then other non-English people should pick up on it... Aside from a few minor errors, your English for example is better than most of the crap I see :) I think it's also a shift in internet users from the realm of mostly educated people to the unwashed masses :)

ya know whats weird to me?
it seems like people in other countries speak proper english 100x better than people in america. i have a friend in portugal who is always correcting my grammar and he is RIGHT haha!
