English Education Rant
It's pretty shocking to see just how illiterate my fellow countrymen are.
Just looking at posts and messages from a large number of people I'm coming into contact with doing business online, I cannot help but draw the conclusion that nearly nobody in England can spell even the most basic of words, let alone punctuate or construct a sentence.
I long ago gave up hopes of paragraphs.
It seems these days that if you can write legible English, you're probably not English. How sad is that? And what does that say about our education system?
Even people that think they're bad at English do a better job than the majority of English 18-25 yr olds. Maybe I just sound old :) Kudos to all my friends of different nationalities that maybe do not realise how advanced their command of the English language actually is!
