I was startled when I saw the tag/label for the English version (though I probably shouldn't have been), because I thought "that's just how I tag my Disney songs!" XD Then I laughed, because I'm pretty sure Anastasia actually wasn't a Disney production. It was WB/Fox I think. ^_^;; lol. (of course, I still dump it with my disney anyways, because I fail I'm stubborn that way.

I grabbed everything, because I'm always up for something new! I love Swan Lake. Is the Metropolis song the one they play at the end where the building collapses? I remember watching that, and my jaw dropping, because the combination was so odd. XD

XD You're right, it is a Fox movie: according to IMDB, "This was the first feature for 20th Century Fox's animation division." However, when I got this file, it was labeled that way, and I never bothered to change it. ;^^ Maybe I should mention it? I don't know.

Anastasia is awesome though, I got the soundtrack when I was little (which shows you the common sense of my parents as they got me the soundtrack but not the movie DX It's #2 on my to-get list of american animated movies behind Iron Giant) "At the Beginning" is one of my all-time favorite love songs :3 You should post that :D I got the album out of my room to check XD and I swapped out it's jewel case for a less smashed one XD Glory be to saving old PC software cases XD

Aaaah Metropolis. I love that movie. I've seen the uncut russian original too >33 You should see it, it makes the anime so much more deep XO

XD you're very right about it being Fox; just when I got the song it was already named that, and I never got around to changing it.

I don't actually have "At The Beginning"--but I mean, if you really want me to, I can go and get it to post I guess. XD You can probably get Anastasia cheap off of Amazon, can't you?

By "uncut Russian original," do you mean the live-action movie-thing? I wasn't aware that had any relation to the anime. O_o Heck, the original manga by Osamu Tezuka is very different from the anime movie, even. I had always considered the movie to be an essentially stand-alone piece...Hmm.

And the original is what the manga/anime was based on, and yes there are MANY similarities. Mostly in basic plot. But besides, it's an AMAZING movie, especially for what it accomplished for 1910-something!
