Well, the lack of conversation with Xander was a shade of uncomfortableness and now I was moving on to another thing that I was less than excited to do. See Angel. CheckI couldn't help but be surprised at the new local for him. A notoriously evil law firm? It didn't seem like his style really. But we live in two different worlds now. We have for a

I waited for the doors to open, watching the lights on the one elevators go down from below me, and the other coming up... I sighed. Of course; I would have to go up before I could go down... whatever.
The doors to the elevator opened, and I got in, glancing at the only other person in the elevator. A small, slim blonde woman... I nodded to her, as the doors slid shut. "Um, there's a package for you..." she said, looking shy and intimidated.
"I'll get it later," I said, and she vanished. I glanced back at Wesley, and sighed. "Never a moment of peace around here, huh?"

"As for the truth, perhaps a spell? A truth spell?" I offered, "Though that seems like it might backfire somehow." My forehead crinkled in discontent.

"I don't know. We can't trust anyone around here," I said bluntly. "Tell 'em what they need to know, nothing more, and... hopefully that will be enough," I said softly. We could hope... and deal with whatever came as is it did.

"I truly think it is needed." I sighed. It was practically impossible, what I was asking. How could we trust people around here?
