This is fully just personal opinion, you can take it or leave it: I sort of think threesomes work best when they don't involve a person you're in love with--it would save you from a lot of those strange, conflicted, jealous-type feelings. (Or at least, the jealous feelings would be less personal and more 'damn it, I want more/I think it's my turn now etc')
