don't use the modern skins. because for some reason, skinning always needs 8423482384043080329484 worth of resource space

Yeah, I'm good with the basic on this one. The program even warns that it will severely slow itself down if you use skins under certain circumstances.

You would be surprised how many idiots at work saw me playing with this and asked, "is that an (ipod/ipod photo/video ipod)?" Ipods are just way too expensive for what they really do. The storage is nice, but the price, screen and functionality aren't. Now, bear in mind that all of my ipod experience is pre ipod photo. I bought this PPC for $100, and it will do everything that an ipod will do...except better. The screen is widescreen and plays videos nicely. The games are better, too (sure, the ipod has brick breaker, but I have Tiger Woods and Age of Empires). In summary, I just don't think that Apple has advanced the ipod enough since its inception to warrant it remaining at the top of the MP3 player food chain.

iPods are the suck. Trust me, I owned one.

That's petty damn slick mang. I have a VLC-esque piece of software for my Treo 650. Don't have it installed currently though.

I use MVP to play my videos and Pocket DVD to transcode down to my desired res and bitrate. Since the res = the max res of the screen, you don't really notice the quality change on most videos. I need to go get a 1 Gig card, tho.
