Annual Training: Days 4 & 5
I spent the last two days out in the field. The first was more driver's training, and today was ammo guard. I had to spend the night in the back of a 2.5ton truck with the infamous SPC Mitchell, but we had my computer, and I requisitioned a generator. It was alright. Yesterday had some crappy weather, but I made up for it with reckless driving. We had drivers training, and those of us who already had HUMMV licenses (myself included) were training those who did not. Man, the Army isn't kidding around when they say "hurry up and wait". I scrambled yesterday and this morning to get to my armory on time, and I've been waiting for something to do on Camp Atterbury ever since.
