I had a very bad day at work. But now we're house sitting and I got to see the second showing of the season premiere of Monk. So I'm feeling better. We didn't have to come over tonight, but we won't have too much time to play with these ferrets tomorrow, so they're getting a lot of playtime tonight. Being able to tell people you were hit by a semi is a great trump when they're doing something you don't like.

I'm in much less pain although my thigh is ridiculously swollen.  I actually went out on Sunday to work because they had to do my yearly review.  I also went to see my folks so my mom won't worry, but that was premature and I almost puked on the way home.  So I took it easy on Monday ( Read more... )

I was driving another person's mini van back from youth conference on Saturday when we got hit by a semi. There were six of us in the car all together. One girl got a broken leg while the others just got bumps on the head. The other two adults are in ICU at Creighton. Lisa had to be airlifted there. We're getting nearly $1,000 for the girl who ran into Bryce's car. I was so worried because no one seemed willing to talk to us all week, but then her insurance called us today and her agent had looked at the car himself when it was in inpound and estamated the damage to the rear. Bryce was in a terrible accident today. He's not hurt, surprisingly no one was hurt. He was driving down I-80 and this car a couple cars ahead of him stopped suddenly. The car in front of him stopped and Bryce hit that car, sending it spinning into the other lanes where it ended up facing the opposite direction. The gal behind Bryce hit him, ( Read more... )
