TV brain spew overload.

Beware of a healthy dose of bulleted TV ramblings ahead. I just realized that this is like the 5th work day straight that I felt like mentioning something short and snarky about one of my shows or another - but since I don't know how to do short, this stuff accumulates and we get this instead. A week (or more) in review, kinda. :/

Don't worry, I'll label each one as to not spoil anyone who isn't caught up. You know who you are - MI! )

dexter, moonlight, lost, fandomness, bones, smallville, house, friday night lights, supernatural, pushing daisies

You do have to admit that Kristen Bell is also awesomeness on Heroes. But she'll always be Ronny:)

I fricken, fricken, fricken love me some Nathan Fillion, Loved him when he was on One Life to Live. Totally loved him in Firefly and Serenity. And Buffy. Hmmmm.. perhaps I'll throw that in the dvd today.

Pushing Daisies is amazing! I love the Tim Burton feel to it. Plus, anything with Kristen Chenowith is amazing. She's amazing.

FNL: Best show Evah! (that's the boston coming out of me).

Do you watch Ugly Betty? LOVE THIS SHOW!

I just don't like the writing on Heroes. Sure she was great - but that is predictable. Honestly, I don't think it helped that she was dressed like Veronica Mars. They should have done something completely different like a pantsuit or something. *shrug* That show makes my head hurt ( ... )

I kinda feel bad that I stopped watching Pushing Daisies after the first episode. I was one of those cold, heartless people that hated it. :X LOL Maybe I should have given it more of a chance, but I guess I watch too much TV already anyway.

FNL owns. I watch Moonlight as it airs (what is it about cheesiness and vampires and how they go together, yet somehow it all works?) I record FNL and watch it later with my husband, who also loves the show.

Regarding Smallville, don't you hate it when you're still watching a show, just so you can see how it all ends? I was that way with so many shows in the past, but I just can't do it anymore. When a show starts consistently sucking, it's gone (i.e. E.R, Grey's Anatomy etc.).

I didn't know Katee was only a temporary cast member! I guess I can kick that show to the curb as well.

Glad you're feeling a bit better. :)

PD did get better. I was kinda mixed after the first one and really questioned where they could carry the story - plus the pilot had kind-of a mini-movie feel to it with a like ending to that tale. Anyway, I was very taken by the 2nd episode and after last weeks - I'm sold for life. It more than anything made my dismal mood just evaporate (being it's a day earlier than SPN it got the process rolling). It was hilarious and clever and everything good TV should be. They did right by giving it a full season pickup after that episode aired ( ... )

*is sheepish* I'll watch Pushing Daisies, House and Bones before you appear, I promise. But SPN? STill have to wait for J. Alas.

I'm looking forward to our chick night date!

Damn! And I thought my attempts at subtle persuasion would work! *pouts* I mean, he owes you doesn't he, I mean you are caring his offspring and he called you plump or some such. *huffs* (Ok, below the belt, but I want to experience Winchesters with you. Can we watch some S2 or something instead.)

Speaking of our date night, when is Cristal coming Friday? I mean I can still come Saturday if that's better for you - but I just found out yesterday afternoon that the in-laws are taking Brady camping and I know Megan is going to her grandparents - all due to Halloween type activities and such. Anyway, I could come Friday night instead, that way I could stay home with Ben on Saturday night. But still, it's up to you.

*hugs*

Friday is cool. I think Christel is coming around lunch time, but I'll check.

I don't have S2. Do you?

I have the first 2 disks and might have the third by Friday (since I'm broke I'm renting them on my Blockbuster queue and ripping them with DVD shrink). I would have had threw the 4th disk if they hadn't shipped in "Transformers" and "Knocked Up", but I'm glad of those either way. Hey, why don't I just bring "Knocked Up" instead. We could use the laughs and I won't have time to watch it before than - was gonna rip it tonight.

Actually Friday would be better for me now that I don't have the kids. Since Ben is working I'd be alone (which also sounds promising) but I wouldn't have the guilt about leaving Ben alone and stuff. I get off around 5 or so, so just let me know if that's all good for you. *hugs*
